The two front rams are connected together through the roll restrictor valve in order to level the car. It works by allowing maximum fluid to go from one ram to the other one during standstill of the vehicle, while when driving the valve will partially close to slow the flow of fluid from one ram to the other ram. The main idea is to prevent the vehicle from tilting excessively during curves.

The roll restrictor valve will not be installed after chassis number 7404 being part of the front height control system which resulted ineffective in these cars. It was also possible to be removed through official dealers when the cars where in for routine checks, under owner's request.
