IntroCar COVID-19 Response (Updated 28th May )

IntroCar continues to remain open for all online and mail order business and we are carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation, trying to keep abreast of the latest developments internationally and how it affects our daily operations. Of utmost importance is the health and well-being of our staff, customers, and suppliers, and we wish to ensure that everyone is safe, remains healthy and the business is able to weather the economic uncertainties that may present themselves.

We are increasing staffing levels again as the lockdown is gradually eased. Throughout we have been careful to implement policies and practices that facilitate safety and also protect service levels to the best of our ability. For those who need to be working on site, we are adopting social distancing and additional safety measures but order fulfillment operations are functioning normally. We have been able, through the good offices of our well-motivated staff, to avoid delays at this stage and we will keep you advised on any amendments to the expected time of dispatch.

We are requesting that no one other than staff and essential contractors enters the building. Collections may still be made, but customers must order in advance and telephone on arrival so that goods may be brought out to the car park and social distancing can be maintained.

Couriers are still operating at virtually normal levels. Our usual international courier partners are DHL, and they have made some price increases to cover additional costs caused by the lack of access to passenger networks. They are now operating using their own planes or other commercial flights. We note that this has altered some routes and may cause longer than normal transit times. Our couriers are still collecting daily & delivering from any business address that is open.

We have noticed that the normal postal service is a little delayed, so we recommend upgrading to special delivery (UK customers) or using a traceable DHL service for the rest of the world.

Orders may be placed in the usual manner but using email or placing orders online is helpful if you can possibly do so via our website. Should you call and be unable to speak to the salesman, please leave a message as instructed and you will receive a call back very quickly.

There are some minor delays of supplies for factory Original Equipment (OE) due to fewer staff operating the main warehouse at Bentley Motors, but no serious delays are being experienced. Where not already in stock there may be a small impact on your order dispatch until our normal supply is resumed.
