Conditions of sale
Important – You must read these conditions

We want you to be delighted with the parts you purchase from Introcar Ltd. Therefore, if for any reason you are not entirely happy, we would be most appreciative if you could inform us of the reasons whereby we have failed to meet your expectations. This way we can look to improve our service in the future. Please make yourself familiar with the conditions outlined below. Some stipulations are important, without which we would be unable to continue business, so your knowledge and acceptance of the conditions of sale outlined below are essential before you place your order.

All parts sold are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of the original sales invoice. In most cases, except where otherwise specified on the relevant invoice, warranties will not cover labour, failure of a related component, failure resulting from faulty installation or misuse, nor will liability exceed the cost of the original component. In case of fault during the warranty period Introcar Ltd should be notified immediately. Advice will be given as to the best course of action. A purchase invoice number must accompany all claims.

In the event of a part being wrongly supplied Introcar Ltd must be informed immediately. This must be accompanied by the purchase invoice number and must be done within 5 days of delivery of the goods. Should the incorrect identification of the item(s) not be the fault of Introcar Limited, it may not be possible to return the goods for a credit because of the reasons outlined below. At the very least, a handling charge of 15% will be applied to cover administration costs involved in accepting a returned item. In the case of items ordered from the Rolls-Royce factory on your behalf, we would like to point out that Rolls-Royce will not accept in return any item which is correctly supplied according to the order. Because of the stringency of these conditions, we reserve the right to take payment for such goods in advance of a factory order to protect the company against cancellation at a later date.

Goods specially ordered by Introcar Ltd on behalf of the client may not be returned except if faulty or clearly incorrect according to your order. In the event that such parts are faulty or incorrect Introcar Ltd must be informed within 5 days of receipt of the goods as notification outside this period will affect the ability of the company to accept return of the goods.

Introcar Ltd cannot be held liable for damage, loss, or non-fulfillment of its obligations owing to an act of God, war, requisitioning government or parliamentary prohibitions or enactments of any kind, trade disputes, incident of any nature beyond the control of the company.

Prices are subject to VAT at the current rate of 17.5% on top of the prices quoted, and is applicable to all orders where the delivery address is within the EEC, unless the invoice is made out to a company (outside the UK) with a valid VAT number. Payment should accompany orders in full prior to dispatch unless alternative arrangements of credit have been made. Goods purchased on an exchange basis are subject to a surcharge that is refundable in full on receipt of the exchange unit, providing the exchange unit is in restorable condition. If not the returned surcharge will be adjusted accordingly. Return of exchange units or of any parts being returned to Introcar Ltd should be sent via an insured and traceable means of delivery. Introcar Ltd cannot be held liable for the non-delivery or damage of such items being returned to the company.

We, or our appointed carriers insure all mail order parts. Claims of shortage or damage must be made within 3 days of receipt of order. Packaging must not be destroyed. Damaged goods cannot be replaced if signed "Received in Good Condition". Do not sign for goods that appear to be damaged. Every effort will be made to comply with an agreed delivery date.
