Reconditioned Exchange Steering Racks
Introcar Limited supplies guaranteed & rig-tested Steering Racks for your Rolls-Royce or Bentley. Please be aware that for some years Rolls-Royce have supplied the same Steering Rack for early (pre-1988) and late (post-1998) model cars, supplying a fitting kit to enable the later Rack to be fitted to cars manufactured prior to 1988. Unless otherwise requested, Introcar Limited will supply the Rack which is correct to the chassis number of your vehicle, as originally fitted when the car was manufactured.
If your car was manufactured before 1988 and the Rack has been replaced by the later model, the Rack Introcar will supply will not match, unless you ask us to supply the late model Rack. To tell if your Rack has been replaced by the late model, check the brackets whereby the Rack is bolted to the Subframe. If the brackets are rectangular, then you have the original type Rack, if the brackets are oval in shape, you have the late model Rack.
